Artist's Comments

This is a concept I made for Blizzards game World of Warcraft, There will be an expansion coming out with unknown new classes and races, I want one of them to be a Worgan (dog dude) Shadow knight (opposite of a paladin). My friend and I came up with the whole armor concept, he also has a weapon as you can see in the sketches. I tried to give the armor a gothic design, I tried not to focus so much on making him look evil, but more dark and mysterious. Tell me what you think!

Heh, I think it looks pretty damn good if you ask me. I really like this concept of a "Shadow knight" definitely would love to play that job on there. But yeah, sweat job on this man!

That is amazing, I love all of the detail in the armour and the character. The expression is also really awesome.

It's hard to not make a beastial character not look as menacing as it's attire. Maybe if you filed down it's teeth and shaved him...but then you'd have a human. But the Worgan and his armor are amazing, exspecially his claws and the gauntlets on him. And shadow knights are an awsome pick for this group it seems. Great work.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it. I actually was trying to make him look a little less evil and more mysterious, maybe a reduction to the teeth would have done it. Thanks for taking the time to look at it!

Unfortunately no new class will be unleashed upon WoW. :( They need to give the Horde their worgens from Warcraft 3! Plus the online game's lore is nothing like bloodelve's warcraft 3 lore! BTW brilliant picture I saw it on the Blizzard sight and I'm just sitting there going '' Come on Blizzard! Use this inspirational art for something brilliant ingame!'' lol

I know Worgans would have been alot better than blood elves or dranei in my opinion. I remember going to Blizzcon and hearing Metzen saying that the Dranei "were gonna rock." I must have not heard him correctly because I think what he really said was the Dranei "were gonna look like rocks."
